Now is the Perfect Time!

With so many opportunities to perform online videos during this time of Shelter in Place, I thought a few lessons on getting over Stage fright would be a powerful way to inspire each one of us a new way to feature our individual voices and talents to the world.

Whether it's a Ted Talk inspired lesson, a performance art piece, or even an online video resume you would like to upload to a Company you are applying for, these fun and simple exercises will give you the confidence you need to Shine.

It's so rewarding!

When I was a kid, I was the weirdo, the outcast, the "George Mcfly" (From Back to the future, movie) of the class for more than 11 years of Grade school and High school combined, and it wasn't until I landed the lead role as a 4th grader in the 4th and 5th grade production of "Christina the Christmas doll" 1974 That I realized just how rewarding and soul fulfilling it is to be a star, and disappear into another world as someone else, and consequently receive the resulting praise, respect, and heartfelt gratitude for the inspiration to do the same, from the audience.

I can show you how fun and easy it is to set aside societal/parental co-created selves and disappear into another someone, and feel the rewarding personal power that comes from performing, not just as any someone else, but as themselves as someone else.

It was in 2017 back stage of "Twelfth Night" That it dawned on me what it is to be an actor, and this phrase came to mind, as I wrote it at the top of my script.

It is in the art of being present, that we present our selves to the world, as a present.

Kathryn DelChiaro Williams

Embodied Awareness Mentor

Kathryn is a lifelong performer, spiritual explorer, and student of human consciousness. With more than 35 years of experience in community theater — performing in both classical and contemporary works — she has spent much of her life quite literally stepping into characters. From early lead roles as a child to portraying complex women in productions such as Crimes of the Heart and Shakespearean classics, the stage became both her refuge and her classroom. Accepted into San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theater (ACT) in 1989 and later working in independent film, Kathryn developed a deep appreciation for the psychology of character — what shapes it, drives it, and limits it. Over time, that curiosity expanded beyond the stage. Raised in a strict Catholic environment yet drawn from a young age to broader spiritual inquiry, Kathryn began exploring questions of consciousness, reincarnation, meditation, and the deeper nature of identity. What began as childhood wonder evolved into decades of personal study across spiritual and philosophical traditions, always grounded in lived experience rather than dogma. For over 20 years, Kathryn has also worked as a bodyworker and massage therapist, integrating her understanding of emotional patterning, conditioning, and the mind-body connection into her practice. Her work has consistently centered around one theme: awareness transforms experience. Throughout sixty years of playing the character called “Kathryn,” she has always asked a deeper question: Who — or what — is behind the role? Star in Your Own Story was born from that lifelong inquiry. Her intention is simple: to help others step out of unconscious narratives, release outdated roles, and remember the presence behind the personality. She invites participants to explore spirituality without rigidity, psychology without shame, and growth without self-rejection. Kathryn’s work is not about adopting new beliefs. It is about awakening to the light that has always been there — and learning to consciously inhabit your own life with clarity, authorship, and compassion. Because you are not here merely to survive your story. You are here to shape it.
